We have had the rental license from the Andalusian Ministry of Tourism since 2016. Our license identification is VUT/MA/04798.

To obtain a license, a number of criteria must be met. These include safety, standard, what should be included in the price, etc. The intention is that the guest should have a safe stay with a good standard.

Why we collect your information

Since 2018, the Spanish authorities have required all holiday rental companies to register their guests with the police (the so-called SES register). This is a general requirement for the entire tourism industry in Spain – not something we as private rental companies have decided ourselves – and aims, among other things, to increase safety for both guests and the local community.

What information do we collect?

When booking, we require the following information for all guests staying in the apartment: full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number (or national ID card) and home address. This information is reported electronically to the Spanish Tourist Board no later than 24 hours after arrival.

How and when we collect the information

We will send you a simple registration form well in advance of your arrival, which you will fill out digitally. It only takes a few minutes and needs to be completed for everyone in your party, including children. The information is treated confidentially and will only be shared with the Spanish authorities as required by law – never for marketing purposes or with third parties.

What the license means for you as a guest

Our VUT (Vivienda con fines Turísticos) license means that our apartment is approved by the Andalusian region for short-term rental to tourists. This means that we meet the safety, standard and registration requirements that are set for reputable rental companies – and gives you as a guest extra security in your booking.
